CHARITABLE FUND FOR THE PROTECTION OF REFUGEE CHILDREN FROM WAR IN UKRAINE

The Ukrainian war has been going on for over nine years, thousands of people have died, millions have become homeless and lost their families. Among these orphans are children who have lost any hope of a happy future. This is why there is a need for the creation of a charitable fund for the protection of refugee children from war in Ukraine.

We cannot ignore the fact that five million citizens of Ukraine are currently refugees and depend on social assistance from the host country’s budget. This means that a significant portion of children also do not have the opportunity to receive proper assistance from the state. The organization of a charitable foundation can be an important step towards providing assistance to refugee children from war in Ukraine.

The UN reports that over 500,000 Ukrainian children are in European Union countries. This is a huge number that requires immediate attention from relevant governments. However, how to attract media attention to this issue?

Today, the media is primarily focused on scandalous events and political battles. This is undoubtedly important, but we cannot forget about the social problems faced by our compatriots. To attract media attention, direct work is needed in active information exchange. This can include steps such as contacting journalists, posting information on social media, organizing press conferences and other events.

However, it is no less important to draw the attention of the EU and Ukrainian authorities to the problems of children and their parents in EU countries. This can be done through the activity and involvement of a wide range of community leaders who can spread information about this problem and draw management’s attention to it.

The creation of a charitable fund for the protection of refugee children from war in Ukraine is an important attempt to help little people who have suffered from war. But without the attention of the media and relevant authorities, such efforts may not be enough. But not all is lost yet, and more work needs to be done to draw attention to this important issue.
